With the proliferation of smaller retailers, in especially rural areas, more and more manufacturers are resorting to selling to these retailers on an ad hoc basis and for cash only. This is done by way of van sales.

The vans are filled with stock in the morning and the driver delivers it to the stores .  Stock is issued from the van and invoiced on the mobile device.

Stock and cash are controlled each day on return to the depot.
