SHOP PERFORMANCE REPORTS
A GAP report is a measurement of the performance of a store in terms of criteria as set by the company. It is important for the company to know that the stores to which its goods are supplied conform to certain minimum standards. It is not only important that a store buys goods from a supplier, but the supplier must know that all the stores that sell its goods comply to the minimum standards as set by it– The goods must not only be bought by the store but must be displayed in such a way that the buying public will buy it.

GAP reports can be prepared and can be viewed by the company in real time. All stores are evaluated on criteria set by the company, and are displayed in a dynamic report. The results change as the input is adjusted and all unacceptable deviations can be rectified as they are spotted. The results of all surveys are displayed in real time, and the company can view the results as they change, dynamically.

The GAP results of all the stores supplied by a company in total, or per region, or per customer, are available on a single report, and the display changes as the data changes. The results are sorted and displayed as management requires. Comparisons can be made at a glance and attention can be given to the deviations. – No delay and no errors. Management action can be instituted immediately and the corrected results will be displayed immediately.
As a sufficient number of stores comply with the minimum standards set by the company the bar for the minimum standard can be raised. More previously satisfactory stores will appear in the lower range of the report and attention can be given to them, resulting in a continuous improvement of all the stores where its products are being sold - Dynamic Management!
